Less Invasive > Laser for Cherry Angiomas

Raised red spots on the skin called cherry angiomas may become cosmetically bothersome. There are extremely common and range from barely visible to several millimeters in size. They first appear with advancing age and then increase in size and number. Nobody likes them

Angiomas are most commonly found on the abdomen, chest, and arms, but can and do occur just about anywhere.

Why Do It?

Diode laser treatment can eliminate them permanently. Although new agiomas in nearby locations will continue to form over time, they can take several years to grow large enough to seem a bother.

After laser treatment, the red angioma forms a crust that falls off in a few days. Because laser treatment is so quick to administer, large numbers of lesions can be treated in a single session. No anesthesia is required.
