Invisalign™ is a series of clear, nearly imperceptible, custom-made removable teeth aligners that can be employed as an alternative to traditional fixed metal braces to straighten teeth.

Whether the end result is a little faster or not quite as good as that obtained with wire braces is still undetermined. However, Invisalign is a viable alternative now in wide use.

  

Why Do It?

The primary advantage of Invisalign is cosmetic. There are no wires or brackets as with traditional braces. Adults seem particularly adverse to the appearance of wire braces more typically seen on children and adolescents.

Eating is easier without the wire to catch on food or break.
